Trees
We carry only trees that are native and adaptive to our soil conditions in North Texas here at Green Mama's, that means your tree will like the soil you plant it in. When trees and plants that aren't adapted to the alkaline conditions here are planted it invites disease and pest problems, although they may live they'll never be healthy or flourish like a native plant will.
We have in stock, trees from 5 to 20 gallon sizes, and can furnish trees up to 200 gallons. A wide range of both shade and ornamental trees are available, and we have a delivery and planting service you can utilize as well.
SHADE TREES: Bald Cypress, Chinese Pistache, Lacebark / Cedar Elms, Ginko, Little Gem Magnolia, Big Tooth / Shantung and Trident Maples, Burr / Chinquapin / Lacey / Live / Mexican White and Red Oaks and Texas Ash.
Ornamental Trees: Anacacho Orchid, Carolina Buckthorn, Chisos Rosewood, Crabapple, Desert Willow, Roughleaf Dogwood, Eastern Red Cedar, Eve's Necklace, Flameleaf Sumac, Goldenball Leadball, Possumhaw Holly, Mexican Buckeye, Mexican Plum, Pomegranite, Forest Pansy / Mexican and Texas Redbuds, Rusty Blackhaw Viburnum, Soapberry, Southern Wax Myrtle, Smoke Tree, Texas Mountain Laurel, Texas Persimmon and Vitex.
