Soil Preparation
This is your most important task, it will dictate how well everything is going to grow in your garden. Our black and white alkaline soils in North Texas are deficient in several areas, firstly, they are lacking in organic material, humus and the related biological activity that goes along with rich organic soil. The next problem is dense, compacted soil, void of air and oxygen.
By amending your beds or garden you will create a condition that will allow your plants to flourish and grow season to season.
